New Macbook ALUMINUM body - trouble with wireless internet access on coded network.?

I have been trying for about a day now. I have the new aluminum body macbook running Leopard. Whenever I type the internet code in, it will pause and try to connect then 5 seconds later tell me "Connection Timeout". Can someone help me?
