Newbie question about Investing, Im looking to start out small and get big BUT?

I need some sort of investment that lets you have quick access to my money such as a debit card. Also i want to start out with just $500 and add to my investment weekly. What is a good investment vehicle to look at.

Savings account at a bank, or an interest earning checking account {look at credit unions. I earn 6% on my first $500--(then pennies)}. You don't have enough money to gamble in the stock market, and precious metals are very volatile by nature. Collectibles are also risky, even if someone did just sell a Batman comic book for over $1m.

Don't overdraft your debit card, or you will go backward. Keep saving.
