I recently got a Cello/Neon C1973F television with built in DVD and DTV. It's a great TV, but when I play a DVD in it, the voices are very quiet and muffled, almost non-existant, while the music and sound effects are perfectly fine. I think I know what the problem is here; the audio output is set to surround while the TV uses it's own speakers. BUT I cannot change the audio output whatsoever, not on my TV, not on the DVD menus, nowhere. This is extremely annoying, so does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
@TV guy: As I said, the DVD menus, of the DVDs I choose at least, do not let me change the audio output - there's no option to.
And with the PCM, I don't know entirely what it is, but I tried it previously, and it didn't work.

On the DVD disc, select 2-ch stereo (instead of Dolby Digital)
The DVD player must have it sown audio setup menu; again select PCM instead of Dolby Digital (or bitstream)
