Obama may have won the second debate but it would not result in any polling boost

for him. Is that right? Over 98% are already pre-determined who to vote for even before the second debate started. First debate is where people hadn't made up their minds and were influenced. In general debates fail to affect polls unless its very heavily one-sided like the first debate. Obama didn't win the way Romney won. It appeared to be a little better than a draw for Obama, but not much. In CNN poll, less than 50% agreed Obama won debate. So it was not a clear majority win. Therefore unlikely to have any affect in polls.
