...phone - fraud case? Back in November I bought 2 Pantech Matrix cell phones from my local AT&T store. From the time I purchased the phone I was suspicious that one of them was refurbished. It had videos of someone else's dogs in the memory and the videos were not on both phone so I know the video's were not example promo vids that sometimes come with phones. The phone worked fine and I liked it so I chose not to question AT&T.
I just recently began having problems with the camera - the phone says that the "Camera's not found". While looking through the settings to try to troubleshoot the issue I found a phone feature called a "Business Card" that allows you to store your personal information. The Business Card had someone else's name, office, and mobile phone number listed.
The only explanation I can come up with is that ATT fraudulently sold me a refurbished phone in place of the new phone I paid for. Do I have enough evidence to bring a fraud case against ATT in Florida civil court? I'm going to review my contract and be sure that it does not say that they were selling me a refurbished phone.
