Panasonic Dvd recorder/VHS player with digital tuner dropped all digital channels?

okay so I bought this about a year in anticipation of the digital switch (in case i dropped TWC). I even went and got the digital antennae. The darn thing worked fine at first. It picked up all the digital channels available, but then i watched a DVD and switched back over to TV mode and all the channels were no longer available. I've rescanned about a million times since then and still nothing. BTW I have also checked and made sure it was all tightly connected. Nothing appears to be wrong, except i no longer get the channels.The fine folks at Panasonic were USELESS! Any suggestions?
