PANASONIC SA-AK95 home stereo bass not working?

i have a PANASONIC SA-AK95 and it has two or "SUPERWOOFERS"as it say in the box BUT! there is no Bass at all coming out of them why is that
 
You may like to ensue that the woofer wires are wired into the wire outlets and the greeny yellow super woofer light is on. Note that the woofer wires are red and black and the other speaker wires are light blue and grey, and centre and surround speakers are plug ins. I have the exact same stereo SA-AK95. Goodluck :)
