despite the answer above mine, global warming is a fact and has been measured at about 5C increase so far, and wil continue to rise. Interestingly enough, we are creating far less emissions than we did in 1900 (when trees in london were black with soot) but we are most definately getting warmer. i believe it is said that an area of permafrost the size of the isle of white breaks off every day, and the less perma frost we have the hotter it gets (ice reflects heat and light, without it, the heat and light gets absorbed)
