People of the muslim religion....?

I am not familiar with the details of your religon, but I made this bet with a boy in my class. Here is how the conversation went

me: you are going to have to dance at the [party].
him: wanna bet?
me: sure. I bet you 20 dollars you will.
him: your on. $20 says I don't.

now for my point, Is it against the muslim religion to dance for example the waltz?

Islam is the religion. Followers of Islam are called Muslims. It is not against the religion at all to dance or sing. Some extremists make it look so but it is not.
