True or False....?
People turn to religion because they don't want to feel like they're worthless or insignificant. They turn to religion as a purpose in their life instead of doing something right here and right now, which is the only thing we are sure exists. They turn to religion because they want an afterlife for themselves, when there is no proof and will be no proof that it exists.
opinions..?

Wrong!
When you realize as God teaches in the Bible that what you do and how you live here seriously effects your eternal state it is a tremendous motivation to serve God and people here on earth while we are here. The people on earth who have accomplished the most for humanity are historically those who were believers in God.

False.

About the afterlife thing, that would be classified as greed, and greed in Christianity is a big nono.

No one really knows why Christians believe...

I'd have to say both. I have very strong opinions about organized religion. I think some people are indoctrinated from the time they are conceived and just believe what they were raised to believe. Others challenge that belief and rebel from it completely. Some are raised without religion and seek it out to have something filled inside them. When it comes down to it I think all people seek and believe in their religions for all different reasons. Some to have something to believe in, some to believe they have reason, some to help them accept things some just to say they have a religion. I have much more expansive views but I don't have the space or time right now! Sorry.

Perhaps in some cases, but how does that statement account for the religious folks who do quite a bit of good in the right here and now. Or what about the religions outside of Christianity, some of which don't preach about heaven and hell at all? No, I think you need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Expanding on that question, we have no control over whether the afterlife exists or not. Why worry about something one can't control would be my question? I think religion does offer comfort to people who can't handle the thought of a godless reality. That is of course, just my opinion, and I believe it's something they will never admit to others. In fact, it seems the more logic you present believers with, the more they tighten up. People are strange, what can I say?

Sometimes.

I think that it's intellectually lazy to try to oversimplify and overgeneralize statements but that's certainly up to you to do so.
