hello all!!
Phantom of the Opera is one of the few big plays I have not seen live yet, I know all of the songs in the movie and have seen the movie multiple times but know nothing about the play itself. I hope to sometime soon (in the next few years) see the play on Broadway but my dilemma is whether watching the 25th dvd of the play at Royal Albert Hall would ruin the experience when I finally see the play live.
If I hadn't already seen the movie I definitely wouldn't watch it so it would be a completely new experience but since I already have I'm debating on whether watching the 25th dvd would "ruin" anything.
I'm just wondering what some Phantom fans think? Especially those who have seen the movie, play and 25th dvd, whats your opinion?
I keep thinking if someone were to ask me whether I thought the Les Mis 25th dvd ruins the play and I definitely would say don't see it before you see it live so I'm wondering if Phantom would be the same.
