1. If a farmer has five haystacks in one field and four haystacks in the other field, how many haystacks would he have if he combined them all in the centre field?

2. An artist created small sculptures of animals - less than two feet high - in just a few hours each. Despite the fast work and the fact that he sold twenty of them in a year for more than one hundred thousand dollars each, he made no profit. How is this possible?
 
I don't know the first one
2. I think it could be that the supplies he bought to make the scupltures cost two thousands dollars each so since he sold them for 2 thousand he made no profit
 
1) ONE BIG ONE!!!!

2) He made them out of gold?
