I'm curious because I have M.I. and I have some habits.
I participated in a university study and she admitted that her studies showed that ppl who had mental illness were several times more likely to abuse drugs, prescription medicines, or smoke. A bit more conversing and she further admitted that there was a link between schizophrenia and drug use. She said it went both ways (was caused by/could cause schiz). I hear lots of claims made by non-medical people about things. So when she said that, it made me think of asking people.
