Problem in DVD RW drives of my pc... Please any one help / suggest to solve?

I have two DVD RW drives in my 915 Intel Mother Board Based Pentium IV HT Processor PC installed with XP service pack 3 updated regularly. One of the drives is SATA type and others is IDE PATA type. Till Recently in XP i can burn cd/dvd s in both drives. Now for past few days, i can burn in only one of the DVD-RW drives. If i put a bland DVD / CD in other drive, there is a error message "Incorrect function". Recording tab is present in properties of both drives. But I could enable them in only one of the drives. In other drive automatically it grays out. Pleas Help Me

Have you troubleshooted it?

Are the drivers good?

I have nero and it does a test on the drive , that would help trouble shoot it.
I don't think xp has such

Have you moved, worked on or cleaned it lately? something may have come loose??
