I am developing a novel in the genre of sci-fi. It got good reception in Stage I, but its beginning to shift to Stage II.
In 2552, the United Nations of Earth are faced with a threat. No one had ever thought that an extra terrestrial species could exist. But it did, and it was ruthless. This species, or kingdom if you will, was known as the Swarm. A horrible thing, but smart and more powerful then the UNE could take on. The UNE sent out a distress call to their neighbors who they had close ties with. The Royal Allegiance responded with a message, "We're In" Other worlds were forced to join as there worlds are viciously attacked.
And thus begins, the Swarm War.
I never thought an alien would ever be a part of my writing, but it did, and I think it's good. They arent really alien, more like insect. They are controlled by a queen and have a powerful navy. Hope you like it.
