PS3.......... conecting bluetooth or mic?

soo i went to accessory settings, manage bluetooth devices, i said yes to want to register it, thenn it tells me to prepare the bluetooth device. idk how to do that. it is just a bluetooth that goes on 1 ear. ibought it at walmart, so its nothing expencive.. please help

Erm u might just have hold in 1 of the buttons until the light starts flashing but im having problems 2
 
well i have a bluetooth and it wont turn on but mine is see through but has 1 the size of a ps3 button to turn the remote on and 2 small buttons i think i charged mine to long but if yours is like mine hold the big button tell red and blue lights start flashing then wait tell they stop then go to the ps3 thing to activate it and click triangle on it when your done regastering it and click triangle on it and click connect then it will be connected then go on a online game then u can talk and people can talk to u hope i helped im still trying to connect mine so it will turn on its been working for 3months dont know why it will not turn on
