PS3 wont work - Do I need a blue ray disc cleaner or any old lens cleaner?

My PS3 wont read discs and I'm told I need a lens cleaner. Can I use any old dvd lense cleaner or do I need a Blue Ray? Thanks.
 
Whatever you do i wouldn't send it out to sony. They rip you off, my system broke three times now, the last time it was still in warranty, and the warranty sticker on the outside was completely fine. BUT because of a sticker or some shit like that on the inside of my system was voided (how I have no clue I never took the system apart or even knew this existed) they say I voided the warranty and charge me $149.00. Just pray that the blu ray drive didnt crash, that is what happened to mine the second time.
