Psp 3000 Series Battery!?

Ok so my PSP stopped charging (i think it got fryed) but thats beyond the point. I went to Gamestop and got a new one from my year warranty. The guy gave me a new 3000 series type of PSP. I didnt get the battery and didnt realize it for a while cause I been away at college.

I'm now looking at batteries for it and i would like to no if a 2000 series battery is the same as the 3000 series.
 
Mhh I dont think theyre the same but they should fit as the 1000 fits on the 2000 so I would think that the 2000 fits on the 3000 or you could just buy and extended life battery.
