I lost the charger for it about 3 years ago, so it hasnt been turned on in at least 3 years, I heard that if certain electronics don't get turned on in a long time they don't work anymore, could this happen to my psp?
I just pluged a USB cable to it, (computer to the PSP).
the charging light hasnt turned on but I think that could be since it has absolutely no battery, not even enough for the little light to turn on, but Im hoping it will later.
I don't even know if it will charge this way, but I have several electronic things that charge that way with a USB cable, like my cell phone and mp3 player.
Should I just go buy a charger for it? do you think/know if it would turn on at all if I get one?
or know if it will charge with the USB?

Thanks. Yeah I didn't know about the having to switch to usb to charge function, so I guess I just have to find a charger and see if the batteries bad.
