Psp problems (putting stuff on it from pc)?

i have a psp 1003 and i want to put stuff on it like videos and games that i have on my pc for it but i cant.
i put the memory card reader in then put my memory card in everything comes up and i transfer all the stuff i want to in the folders i want.
but when i put the memory card back in the psp i look everywhere but i cant find it.
i cant even find the folders on the memory card. when i check the memory card memory it has gone down but i cant get the stuff
can anyone help??????????????????

i had this problem,its the format,if its music it has to be mp3.and photos have to be jpeg
