i drive a 94 toyota camry and i was told over a year ago that the left axle needs to be replaced but i couldnt afford to have it done.just recently i was told that the tires also needs to be replaced because i have one new tire on the drivers side and the rest im told are cracked due to weather conditions. driving on the freeway last night, i hear a loud popping noise that sounded like one of the tires blew but they were still intact, the car didnt drive weird or anything but the popping was loud and it happened like 3 times, i think i was going about 60 on the fwy, do you have any idea would it could be? i dont think it was the muffler because there was no smoke coming out,though i do need an oil change...but after driving just under 40mph i didnt hear it anymore
