I have a few folders of different holiday pictures on my computer. I want to put these folders onto a rewritable disk so that i can see them on the tv or on my computer and also have it for a backup incase my computer goes. when i put in a CD RW it says i can use it as a CD/DVD disk but will not be able to add pictures or delete/edt them or i can use it 'like a usb stick' where i can add/delete/edit etc. but with this option i cannot see the pictures on the TV please help ? thanks

if i put the folders onto a dvd RW will this let me rewrite the pics on the DVD RW and also see them on the Tv? thanks

It should, but you need to know what disc to use because not all computers use the same format to record.
Check this out

The DVD-R DVD+R difference can easily be summarized by the following:

The DVD-R/RW standard was developed by Pioneer, and is used primarily by Apple and Pioneer. These “minus“ discs can only be written to in one layer on the discs surface. In addition, this format is supported by the DVD forum, but is in no way an industry standard. DVD-R/RW discs are cheaper than the “plus” format.

The DVD+R/RW format is supported by Philips, Dell, Sony, HP, and Microsoft. These discs can be written to in multiple layers, giving them slightly better and more disc storage than the “minus“ format. Because of this additional capacity, they are slightly more expensive than “minus“ discs.
