You know how sometimes after you exercise, you wake up the next day with sore muscles?
Is that pain because you aren't fit? That tge more you exercise, soon you will feel no pain/uncomfortable feeling? Do athletes get this pain, say after a match?
if you move say, your arm and it hurts really bad, that probably is not good
if its a soreness like, your arm is feeling lazy but still a little dull pain.. that is the most wonderful thing possibly, it means you're getting allll healed up and ready for more fitness training, and maybe you've earned yourself some eggs? =]
The soreness is from all the lactic acid build up in your muscles and the fact that when you work out it tears your muscle fibers. During that time your muscles recruit more muscle fibers than before to prevent it from future tearing (which they will) which is why your muscles get bigger and stronger.
I don't really participate in any sort of sports except running if you consider a sport but I do weight train in addition to that. When I first started running I remember always being sore after runs. The first day was the worst mainly because I wasn't use to running but eventually the soreness no longer followed my running days. Now I only get sore if I add distance. Weight training is a completely different story though. Since my goal is to build muscle I have to constantly excrete all the force I physically can which results in DOMS the following day. DOMS is just a part of weight lifting you should expect the day after lifting. My running differs from my lifting in one way that relates to this question. My running is a set distance that I do not exceed; when I lift I am always trying to lift more weight.
The answer to you question, yes and no. You will only get sore if you are not use to what you did or are trying to increase the intensity/duration of what you did.
Its just cause you broke down your muscles. Its called DOMS, Delayed onset muscle soreness. Make sure you take on a solid amount of protein and carnal within 20 min after exercise and also try glutamine, it helps with the soreness and recovery aspect. Yes everyone who works out gets it if they worked hard enough. The fitter you are the more you can do, but youll still feel sore if you pushed it like you're supposed to. Keep up the good work!
Umm... You get this pain because of following reasons:
You have just started/commenced doing what you're doing
*Excessive amount of trainining/workout.
*Maybe you didn't stretch
*If your muscle is sore every morning for sometime, i recommend going to a doctor and get a checkup on your health. (it's really not bad going for health checkups)
ya even body builders get sore after the next day unless they take steriods of course.
if your not sore than that means two things either your not working hard or your body hasnt recovered and is just getting ripped back open and open. like a scab if you let it build then rip it off it would be sore, if theres no scab there is nothing to rip apart so there for you feel no pain because your muscle is already ripped and hasnt healed itself so you can rip it again.
if you do new exercises you will get sore to, i did a new kinda chinup and my bicep is sore today and my bicep has never been sore for months
