I went into a convenience store to buy a bottle of wine. I am 37 had my id and was the one buying. I had a friend with me who is 30, looks young and didnt have her wallet. The clerk denied my purchase due to the fact she was with me and didn't have id. He said it was the law. Can anyone suggest where I can go to confirm this. It upset me and I have never heard of a denial of sales due to someone being with you and not having id even tho your the one buying and your legal. Any assistance or guidance would be appreciated. Ir really pissed me off and the clerk was a jerk too.
