Well I was reading a tutorial about Xbox 360 flashing and I mean it seemed easy enough to follow (Even though I'm not what you would call a tech wiz), but looking at requirements and whatnot it said I needed:
A destop computer with a free PCI slot.
VIA 6421A PCI SATA Chipset.
The latest VIA 6421A Drivers.
USB Pen Drive.
I mean do I really need the exact chipset and driver, my plain old computer would not suffice? And if it could, how could I check my chipset and drivers to see if they were able to do this? Also I guess I need a sata cable, heh not really sure what that is but I'm guessing I could get that at a local Best Buy
.
Also step 4 puzzled me 4.) Go into your computers Boot settings and set your USB pen drive as
the default boot device. Um how exactly would I do that?
Also this is under it:
Make sure both the x360 and computer are turned off.
Unplug all devices connected to your computer.
e.g Hard Drive, DVD Drive etc
Does this also mean the router and wireless router? Also aren't the hard drive and dvd drive inside the computer, would those go to???
I'm sorry I have so many questions, but I don't really understand much of this, guess I'm what they call a noobie, but anyways, I would greatly appreciate any answers that could help me even by the tiniest fraction to understand this a little more.
Thanks Buddie!
