Received Used Ipad from Relative. Can I sync with my Itunes without losing the apps?

Hi, I Received a Used Ipad (ipad 1) from my Relative. Can I sync with my Itunes without losing the apps? When I connect to my PC it says the ipad is synced with another computer and in order to sync with mine I need to erase and sync the ipad again. I am afraid of losing the apps (paid apps) getting wiped off in the process. Transfer purchases to Itunes works only if I had purchased the apps personally under my email address.
So how do I sync the ipad with my desktop without losing the existing paid apps (bought by my relative)? Please help
 
i suggest you to use any other software for sync your i pad there are many alternatives available on internet itunes is worst managing software. by those software you can easily sync your ipad to any computer without loosing any data one of these kind of software is "copy trans" or something like that you will easily find on internet.
