Replace CV Joint from 1997 gmc jimmy?

I think i need to replace this part because when turning makes clunking sound. I would like to do it as soon as possible, afraid might break or something. Any advice would be appreciate it. Its the drivers side that's making the noise. Anything guys please and thank you all ahead for nay advice.
 
yes you are right if you hear a clicking then it is more then likely to be cv joint. You have to see if its the outer or inner, check the boots see if they are ripped, also check with like auto zone or places like that on how much a axle is, sometimes they are less then a hundred and its always best to just replace the entire thing so you will not have any problems down the road. Don't let it scare you its not that hard, your wheel comes off you disconnect the drive axle from motor/transmission section and from the other end and replace it, you can always get a diagram from auto-zone and other parts stores for nothing, once you look at it you will see it is not very hard to do
