This year I want to ride my bike to school because I don't have a ride and I have to stay after school for Tennis practice. What do I need to know? Stuff like locks, where to park my bike, riding on the sidewalk.. anything I need to know please answer!
I also live about two miles away from school.

If you are riding your bike to school:

- Make sure you bring a lock or chain that can keep your bike attached to a bike rack. Try to see if your school has one, and if it doesn't look for a place where you can keep your bike locked. Even if it's a place where nobody could take your bike, you can never be too careful!

- Park your bike in a location where other bikes are. You don't want to park your bike far far away from the others because you don't want somebody thinking you're just leaving it there

- Make sure you always have a backup plan in case you can't ride your bike or if something goes wrong (like a flat tire or chains coming out)

- Ride on the sidewalk and not on the road, especially if it's a busy one

- Make sure you aren't carrying too many heavy thing's because you are going to have to carry your weight and the weight of your items all the way to school and back!

But if you are going to take a bike daily, you are going to need some adjusting to do. Like let's say one day you have a big project to bring to school, you have to find a way to take it with a bike! Or if it begins to rain, etc.
