Saved Divx videos only play first two minutes?

Hi, I have just installed Divx 8 on Windows 7 Ultimate. Usually, after I watch a Divx video, I transfer the temporary file to my hard disk and change it to a .avi format so I can watch it later. However, although the file says it is 51 minutes long and is around 547 MB, it only plays the first 2 minutes! I have tried it on both the Divx Plus Player and Windows Media Player and the same thing happens with both. What could be the problem?
