Sci-Fi idea, what do you think?

A group of scientists investigate a large alien satellite in outer space. The satellite is very old and dingy with electrical wires flickering. The scientists go further in but are lured into a trap and they are put to sleep. The scientists are placed in strange pods, attached to large animals by wires. A small alien that captured them appears and starts a machine. All of the scientists yelled in agony as they were shocked by the wires attached to them. It eventually stopped, but the scientists bodies were nowhere to be seen, but the large animals in their pods awoken. The alien let them out and ordered them to attack the space station where the scientists came from, and capture more people.

This is my plot so far, what do you think?
