I just recently set up the Bluetooth capabilities on my cell phone but I'm having issues transferring files from my laptop.
First off, my cell is a Pantech Link P7040.
Both devices (cell & laptop) have Bluetooth enabled, and they are discoverable. They are currently paired together.
On my laptop, when I click "Start>>Computer" and drag a file (doesn't matter if it's a .jpg or .mp3) from my laptop to the P7040 icon/link, a box pops up attempting to transfer the file to my phone (url: bit.ly/h5ZqOP)
After a couple seconds, I receive the following error: (url: bit.ly/hVcedP)
The file transfer should work because when I click on the device properties, File Transfer (Obex) is selected (url: bit.ly/e9kuPj).
I've read that Verizon doesn't allow Obex, but that doesn't apply to me as I have AT&T and as far as I know, AT&T allows Obex.
Any idea why the file transfer isn't working? I've tried troubleshooting the issue by doing a Google Search, but no matter how I word my search, I am not getting any results.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
