...manufactured automobiles? My problem with the bail out is that it won't end if nobody is going to buy the cars. I don't want to see 3 million people lose jobs, nor do I want to see the government continue to pump money into something that isn't going to succeed.

You comments please?

Is there really such thing anymore as a truly American-made car? I believe most of the parts come from other countries.

thats been a good answer for about 30 yrs ago when they started letting other auto makers sell their cheap cars here sure some was good cars but they over run our country putting many out of work cant say the same thing for their countries look for a ford or chevy in japan goverment did it to us by letting companies move to other countries to onely ship back here for a tax breaks if they would rasie the prices of thing that is not made here to get here ours would be cheaper to buy remembers when one could buy a great new car 5000 bucks and many of them still on the roads today running just like they did when they was new

So do you want to become a Socialist or a Communist country?
The definition of a democracy is giving people choices.

Why did we fight the Cold War for 40 years if we are going to become like the old USSR in less than 20?

Besides, although no car is truly made of all American Parts anymore, what happens to the American workers that work for Honda, Toyota, etc?
Why should we punish them for running successful companies?

Yes,by incentives, like tax free, heavy discounts,to win back consumer confident first, the next vehicle they buy will be same marque.
