should i buy a ps3 or ps1 games?

i saved up $400 and now I don't know to either buy games with $400 for my ps1 that I have, or buy a ps3 but I wouldn't have any games for it, is it any good? is it worth $400 what makes it different than the ps1, because I love my ps1, I can play driver, and crash on it and mortal kombat i love it,

ps3 is way more modern. It has a lot of cool games and i think a new driver is coming out for it. they have mortal kombat for it. you should buy then save up more for games.

Why not buy a PS2 and games for it? You could get the Jak games (made by Naughty Dog who also made Crash). You could also get Ratchet and Clank (Insomniac who made Spyro), or even newer Mortal Kombat and Crash games. Then you can save up some more money for when the PS3 is cheaper.

Well I can tell you the ps3 is way worth the money, even if you just rent games from gamefly. If you're the kind of person that loves owning their games like I am, you can always buy a ps2 and get a bunch of games for that. It's a huge upgrade from ps1 and you can get it for very cheap nowadays.
