My 16 yr old daughter took our car and crashed it a month ago. She is still in hospital waiting for bones to mend. She will make a full recovery.
At the beginning of this year, we booked and paid for non-refundable tickets for a week long cruise, which is due to depart in 3 weeks.
My sister is saying go, because she has committed to going to the hospital everyday in my place, and if my daughter is out of hospital, my sister is willing to look after her too. Her theory is, why punish yourself for a stupid thing your daughter did.
But as a mother, I feel guilty even considering going on the holiday.
My question, should we (the rest of the family) go on the cruise, or should we not go?
