...that hadn't been invented yet, where? Where does that leave Christians who invented a religious that Jesus didn't believe in?

Christian means "Christ-follower." And he did want people to follow him. He said he came to fulfull the Jewish law and prophecy.

You're understanding of Jesus is skewed. He was not simply a Jewish Rabbi, but the Son of God, the Word of God incarnate, God Himself made flesh to dwell among us - the same God as the God of Israel. His followers realized that after His resurrection, and the Church was born on Pentecost.

P.S. My mother is a Linda M, an atheist, and a Jew, too. Weird.

Of course Jesus was Christian, which is nothing more that being a "fulfilled Jew."

The Bible tells us when the term Christian became a word. It means Christ-like so how could He believe in a religion that calls Him Messiah? Not that He knew He was the Messiah. Is the word Messiah different than Emmanuel? I'm going to look that up in a second. According to both Old and New Testament testimony they are both the same person.
