Slide top ps3 Bluetooth problems?

I just got the new super slim slide top ps3, and instantly got a headset for it. Lots of friends have the Gioteck PS3 EX-01 's and have only heard good things. I recently picked it up, and charged it for the allotted 3 hours. It hooked up and everything went fine, but when i'm playing the quality is fuzzy, and pulse-y. I'm running a 54mbps wifi connection on the ps3 if that matters. Any response is greatly arreciated!

It's just because it's wireless.

You should have gotten the Official PS3 bluetooth headset. It's best with the PS3 as you can use it while it's charging and it's compatible with most phones.

Look I'll be very clear. Try and stick with quality brand names. And you can't any better with accessories than with Sony because they DESIGNED the PS3 so naturally their accessories should be best with their system.

Besides that, off-brand producers always suck. I mean look at all of those generic off-brand PS3 contollers, you don't want one of those.. I know Sony is a bit expensive but the quality and 1-year warranty(which comes with most PS3 accessories) is worth it.

The Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset is $40(assuming you live in the US, I'm not sure about other countries.)
