While resting and attempting to catch up on some sleep in class, I would fall asleep but be in that awkward almost conscious state. You know what I mean if you nod off. Anyway, I would see these sharp and clear images of a classroom, people sitting at desks, doing work. My half conscious self thinks that somehow I've left my eyes open and tries to shut them, but they are shut. So I opened my eyes instead. I saw a classroom of people working, but reality was totally different from the closed eye vision. People were different between the two, shirt colors, desk positions, who was where.
What could cause this?
