Sony Home Theater CD no sound?

I have the DAV-HDX501W

When I play the iPod it's fine when I play a DVD it reads it. When I play any CD in any of the 5 slots it reads it and it shows it reading it but no sound comes out.

What could be the problem?
I tried COLD RESET but same problem occurred.
