I'm starting to run and the way I'm doing it is running in intervals of 1 minute running to 1 minute walking, then gradually building to 2 minutes walking to 1 minute walking, then 3/1 and so on.
I'm currently at 5/1, which I'm very proud of. But I don't know if I'm going to be able to do my regimen when I go on vacation for a week. I'm going to try, but since I don't own a stopwatch and don't plan on buying one soon because I'm poor, I'm not sure how well it will go.
So if I don't do my regimen during that week, will all my progress be lost? Will I still be able to run at 5/1 minute intervals?
If so, what can I do to to keep my progress? Like I said, I'm going to try to stick to my regimen, but I figured it'd be smart to hear some other options too just in case.
Ha I realize the hypocricy. Sorry. My parents are paying for the vacation. forgot to mention that.
I'm going to FL, and I'll be right on the beach, so I can always run on that.
