The DVD player on my computer isn't working anymore?

I have a Power Mac G5 desktop and several months ago the DVD player just stopped working. Whenever I put in a DVD to play, it rejects it. However, I can still play/burn CDs.

I just want to know if I can fix it or if I need to get a new one.
