I have had the game for several months. I absolutely could not stop playing it! I had a family that I spent countless hours on. They game was into its 45th week; I had gone through a few generations of sims. My family was large, filthy rich, and completely skilled up. I had just finished building them a new that took me almost four hours to build, when I decided it would be a good idea to save.. To my absolute dismay, it froze!! To top it all off, after thinking that it was all okay and that I could just rebuild the new house again another day, I go back to reload the game to find that its no longer in my saved games thingy.. 
Instead, I see that i have lost all of my hard work on this family and back to where I started when I first created the two sims I began the game with. At this point im furious and having to restrain myself from tossing the dang thing out the window... I highly doubt there is any way of recovering weeks of play... but is there anyone with answers??
