Dammit! I left the house thinking that I had shaved properly... I hadn't... I've got areas of smoothness with islands of stubble and longer stubble... My jeans have split and are being held together by safety pins... And, I'm at work with some visitors coming in...
Grrrrr checked my emails when I was at the Metro Centre (big shopping place somewhere near Newcastle, for those who are lucky enough to not be in the know) the other day and my email account got hijacked by some Chinese spammer!
Also grrrrr contemplating buying a second monitor for my computer only to find that the monitor I have is discontinued and that not a soul has any left in stock Cue mad searching of the internet to find an equivalent 1440x900 18.5", matt black (not shiny) widescreen monitor. Now I've found a Samsung one that is only a few mm different in dimensions that there's thousands of available I don't know if I want to spend the cash on it
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr because some agency workers can't control themselves, and since no one knows who they are, I get the blame for all they did wrong. Then someone switches my shift from Sunday to today without telling me, then expect me to come in, and when I try, the chain comes off my motorcycle. AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
::In Emerg this afternoon due to sudden abdominal pain::
Dr: "I'm not sure what's going on, but it's not your uterus."
Me: "Well, that's good. So, what is it?"
Dr: "Not sure, but it's definitely not your uterus."
Me: "Yes. I got that part. So, now what?"
Dr: "Come in next week for a CT scan."
*sigh* So, yes, it's not my uterus. If my uterus weren't in the picture, what other thing could it be?
Could be irritable bowel syndrome. This can be brought on by stress. Even if you've never had it before. The symptoms are wide and varied and include abdominal pain caused by inflaofftopiction, spasms or cramps.
IBS is also a "catch all syndrome" doctors use when they can't figure out what's going on. I get the spasms and cramps when I'm stressed. They can come out of the blue and be painful enough to floor me. Sometimes it lasts mere seconds. Other times it can be a day or two. It's not nice.
If I didn't find the Samsung which is almost identical (round stand instead of square and only VGA (no DVI) which don't bother me) I would have done. Bought it anyway so next week I can spend my week off working out how to use AutoCAD and SolidWorks again and getting some sites updated All dependant on what wrist and arm usage I have left after a weekend's aikido course
Grrrrr got the monitor and found out I ordered the wrong one. Difference between an E1920N and and E1920NW appears to be 80x130px. Looks like this monitor is heading back to whichever site I ordered it from and the right one will be bought from ebuyer
