Sometimes it's better not to listen to your body telling you to stop. I'm feeling a bit under the weather, a distinctly hurty throat and more tired than usual. Got home from work, thought I don't 'need' to go to the gym tonight. Put it off but the bag was ready and set off at the usual time not expecting much. Still managed a rep PB on Overhead Press, 6 reps at 39kg (pullups weren't as good 3 x 5, then 2 x 4, rather than 4 x 5) but I'll have that considering I know I'm feeling considerably less than 100%
Grandparent duty overnight
I know this may sound scary to the MAP members that have actually met me but I've pretty much given up drinking which makes it alright
'Foods from your Region' lunch at work: smoked fish with spicy rice, plantain with salsa, bean patties with kebabs and chicken tagine from around Africa; spicy catfish from Myanmar; Polish egg and veggie salad; Indian spicy flour 'wraps' and sweets; British cheeses, pie and mash, Cumberland sausage rolls, pâté selection, Greek salad and dips; South American sopaipillas; Irish soda bread, pineapple upsidedown cake, lemon cake, Victoria sponge, bakewell slices, scones and American peanut butter and chocolate cookies! Time to sleep and digest now!
