Thinking of taking cruise...looking for details.. need friendly advice.?

My fiance and I would like to take a family cruise. It would just be my son who is four, my fiance and I. I've never been on a cruise or planned one. If anyone has please give me an estimate of cost and any advice on beautiful places or even key factors to search for and what to maybe look out for. Thank u.
 
Here's some advice: Stay off the boats. Don't you watch the news? How many cases of ship-borne illness do you have to read about? Or another case of someone falling off a boat? Or better, another ship shooting, rape, or theft.
Besides you're on the water, with nowhere to get off in the middle of the ocean, which is full of animals big enough to eat you whole.
Take a nice land vacation, and stay off the water.
Google this: cruise ship accidents, illnesses, illegal activity. See what comes up.
