Sep 28, 2011 #2 S Sophie Member Joined May 16, 2008 Messages 407 Reaction score 0 Points 16 Let's say his French cell number is 06 12 34 56 78 To text him, you'll do the following. - Add the international code (011) to the start of the number - Next, add the country code (33) - Finally, drop the '0' from the '06' cell phone prefix So you would enter, in the phone number line in your cell phone - 011 33 6 12 34 56 78 Similarly, the cell phone number 6 44 55 77 88 would become - 011 33 6 44 55 77 88 =) Hope it helps, and best of luck !

Numbers in France have ten digits but the first one (0) is only from France to France and needs to be taken out when being called from abroad. So you need to dial +33 (country code) then the tel number without the 0
