I had a tooth pulled a few days ago. It was a baby tooth that had gotten itself wedged between two big teeth and just wouldn't fall out. The dentist took an x-ray and found that there was no big tooth behind it, but opted to pull the thing out anyway. Now I've got a gum that won't stop hurting and the sore is an icky black. It doesn't smell or anything like that, but still, from what I hear a black gum isn't usually a good thing. Plus it HURRRTTS! Any idea what's wrong or what I should do?
