Toshiba DVD facotry isn't recognising the subtitles on my AVI file?

Its an anime and it has dual audio with subtitles, I scan the file for subtitle tracks and there none, but when it plays on the computer it always reads th subtitles tracks, but when I try to burn it it doesn't even find any?? How do I fix this?
