Hi I recently had to re format my sisters laptop knowing i had to re install all the drivers which was not a problem for me as i knew which drivers i needed to install plus this is not the first time ive had to do this, the only trouble is i have re downloaded the sound driver off the Toshiba website which i always do but for some reason this time it is refusing to install
The sound driver im trying to install is Realtek High Definition Audio driver Everytime i try to install it i get the following message close to the end of the installation - Install Realtek High Definition Audio driver Failure !! [error code : 0x00000017].
Could someone please give me some insight on how to fix this i know i am downloading the right driver because i have downloaded this driver multiple times for the same laptop please help, here are some quick specs of the laptop
Make: TOSHIBA Satellite L300
Operating System: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Ram: 1024mb
Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio
Please could someone help me with this thanks
