Go for the Celica, the BMW has a weak engine and will be slow compared to the Toyota. The BMW is also far too common on the roads now so the Toyota will be more exclusive and I think looks better. Also the costs of running the BMW will be greater. The 316 is only a 4 cylinder and you really want a six cylinder in a BMW ( the 325ti would be a good choice ). I have owned both a Toyota and a BMW so I am not biased to any one make ( they were both good cars ). If it had been a 325ti I would say go for that but as it is only a 316 you will be better off with the faster Toyota.
Celica for me. The Beemer hatch is a bit of a runt to be honest, and that 1.6 engine in the heavy body will see you being overtaken by grannies in Nissan Almeras.
The Toyota will probably be more reliable too.
bmw all day long mate and this mod is a great one,best 318 thay have made great shape and if u can get some 18inc aw on it to cool to be true but the celica is more sports car looking but there are loades of sports car looking cars out there theres only 1 bmw look.good luck but try to get one with full bmw s h and you cant go wrong what ever the millage
