Traveling With Your Pet to Korea?

My husband and I are moving to Korea this year for work purpose, and I was wondering if anyone could give me information about traveling with pets from the US to Korea. I have gotten information, such as what vaccinations my dog needs. What to do for traveling needs...but will my pet need to be quarantined when I arrive over there? And is the 14hr trip really worth it? Any other information you think would be helpful would be, I would appreciate it. I am not moving over there permanently either. It will only be for two years...which is why I ask if the 14hr trip will really be worth it.
